Scott and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
It seems like the year just whipped by, and memories of a very cold and long spring, beautiful August (summer) and falling leaves came and went too quickly.
Scott has been busy this year in his wood shop. He made several projects (all documented on here) and has made Miss Harper a fun Christmas present (will update you on that later)
I’ve been busy with a part-time job (cashier at our local grocery store in Naples). It’s a seasonal job, so in April I will be done until I come back next fall. I have a new appreciation for folks who have to stand on their feet all day! It’s fun and the store is a busy one, so the time goes by quickly. It’s also nice to be able to contribute to the checkbook again 🙂
Jake and Kate got married last June. It was a beautiful wedding and great 3 day party in Richmond, VA. We’re lucky to have Kate join our crazy family!
Emily and Dave are doing great. They are busy with their jobs, as well as getting the kids to all of their sports and after school activities. All three kids are getting so big! It’s fun to spend time with them at the lake in the summer.
Brianna and Chris are also doing great. Chloe and Ollie are busy with school and sports too. Cooper keeps everyone hopping!
Clydie is doing OK – we’re lucky to have Sister Sue come to our place to take care of him when Scott and I are both gone. He gets along with Bear (Sue’s little dog). We appreciate all of Sue’s help with him.
